Today I ran a big race. I’ve run a few races before but nothing as big as this one. 20,000 people all running 10K for charity, and it was just great. Fantastic atmosphere and the thing I really loved about it was that most of the charities represented were smaller ones – the kind that don’t get a lot of big publicity but make a difference to thousands of people’s lives every day. I was running for The Samson Centre, which I mention here just to give ’em a plug because they’re an amazing organisation. Brilliant.

Congrats! It all starts with a 10k with loads of others to get the addiction going, then its half marathons, then full, then you lose your life…
No seriously, well done and good charity plug! -

Thanks Amelia…strangely enough I was actually thinking about doing a half marathon but the full one still scares me stupid!
