The Zeus Jones blog is always a good read but there’s a couple of posts which have been particularly excellent of late. This one on how the web "isn’t just a communications medium, it’s a services medium":
"I think the real revolution, the real disruption if you will, is that
this is the first time in history that there is a broadcast medium for
disseminating more than ideas. A medium for distributing actions."
And this one featuring the presentation used at The Polygamous Weddings conference. I love the way they’ve expressed some of this so it’s worth viewing:
"If interactions are the most powerful force impacting brands then we
ought to think about what we do as designing interactions. But, it
turns out that designing interactions is quite different than designing
communications."
