Blog Action Day, the annual nonprofit event that unites the
world’s bloggers in posting about the same
issue on the same day, is upon us again. On October 15th, thousands of bloggers will be posting about this year's subject – poverty. Their aim is to raise awareness and trigger global discussion – last year over 20,000 blogs took part and posted on the environment, reaching over 14.5 million RSS readers so that's got to be good.
The thing I like about this is that they are actively encouraging people to post about poverty through the lens of their own area of expertise, and in doing so encouraging thousands of different perspectives. So I've signed up – if you want to as well, you can do so here.
