For my Blog Action Day post, I'm posting Hans Gosling's talk from last year's TED which features an array of quite amazing statistical visualisations ( I particularly like his race between a Ford, A Toyota and a Volvo) showing how people and countries are pulling themselves out of poverty. The central truth of his talk is that there are many different dimensions of development (and we need them all), but that we should never forget that "the seemingly impossible is possible". Something which I guess is apt in these remarkable times. With the current financial turmoil, I can't help but feel that innovation (and innovation with customers) is needed now more than ever.
