I'm delighted to announce that the winner (by a whisker) of Post of the Month for October 2008 is Jonathan MacDonald with his excellent rant . Well done Jonathan – you get the reflected glory of props from your blogging peers and to join Dino in the Think Tank Hall of Fame (and to 'wear'
the Think Tank badge above if you so wish). Thanks again to everyone for
taking part. Nominations will open again in early December for posts
that ran in November so start thinking about the good 'uns you've read recently.

Thankfully, all I applied was old fashioned canvassing.
It turned out that people kinda liked the rant when they felt it was relevant to them and it meant something.
I wish each vote was identified like the rockstars web 2.0 thing.
For me – its not the winning but the effect. If people believe in the rant, then we are in good shape for the new world.
Positivity knows no bounds. Skewing popularity dilutes messages. Change is the enemy of the competant but is the caffeine of the spectacular.
Lets roll…

My mother didn't vote enough.
Wait till I talk to her tonight …
Well done Jonathan, it was the right choice. And no, I'm not saying that with gritted teeth, ha!

Catching up on some reading, unfortunately I missed on out on voting but the winning post is brilliant so that’s cool. Thanks for managing post of the month, it’s a great idea and a great way to find out about other interesting blogs I’m not necessarily reading yet.
I’ll make sure to vote for November, it’s probably coming up soon! -
