"In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan, armed
with a reel-to-reel tape deck, snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in
Toronto and convinced John to do an interview about peace." 38 years
later, he's collaborated with Director Josh Rankin and produced a film about it. Prescient and strangely current.

for as long as i, my dad and my grandpa can remember my country´s been in a crisis. some harder than others. so when you see, hear or read political speeches from 50, 100 years back, they seem to be speaking about the same issues we have to deal with today. what i mean to say is, analogically, peace is just as important then as it is now. it transcends time and as long as there are wars and hunger we´re going to have a voice for it. unless, we put our hands down and say “hey, it´s just the way it is”, like my grandpa says sometimes.
cheers. -
