Think Tank Nominations – February 2009

ThinktankPOTM

OK, so nominations for February Post of the Month are now open, so time to think about the best post you've read over the
last month and nominate it by leaving a comment below with a
link. As usual, this is about recognising good thinking and writing so please
help spread the word to encourage more
nominations for anything broadly concerned with the subjects discussed
everyday in the 'plannersphere' – as long, of-course, as it was posted in the month
of February. Nominations will close in a few days, following which I will open it up
for the vote, and I'll be twittering
the odd update as we go. As a starter for this month, I've picked out 4 of my own favourite posts below – please do nominate your own in the comments:

The Passion Economy eBook – from Sean Howard

Research vs Planning – from Simon Kendrick

Planning for Context Over Planning for Placement – from Gavin Heaton

We20 – froom Johnnie Moore

I think Mario Santoyo’s “Valley of Anguish. The express tour” is more than worthy of being among the nominees. 🙂

Thanks for the comments – do remember please that at the moment this is to nominate posts (rather than vote). I’ll stick a voting poll up so that everyone can vote once I’ve got a decent number of nominations…thanks

If it’s insight you could slice bread with, it doesn’t get much sharper than my think-piece on reinventing blank food as under-utilised media space:

Everyone vote for that one when the time comes.
