The Economics Of Ideals

I've long been a fan of Umair Haque's writing. He's never been afraid to ask the big questions, challenge the big assumptions, propose the radical. This 6 minute interview conducted by Dennis Howlett sums up Umair's approach to the 'economics of ideals':

"What ideals force us to do is to confront the issue of outcomes. Business is very good at focusing on incomes…terrible at producing good outcomes…We need to build our organisations to consider outcomes in the first place."

Well worth 6 minutes of your time.
