Fraggl – Almost There

Fraggl

I'm conscious that I've been a bit quiet about Fraggl, the new Twitter curation app I'm building with AdaptiveLab. A crazy work schedule and a couple of key changes we've made along the way have conspired to delay us, but I'm pleased to say that we're very nearly there. In the meantime, we've had a major rethink on look and feel (sneak preview above) and have been working on the email and website formats for delivering the content.

The original vision for Fraggl was focused on combining algorithmic, social and human curation to surface great content shared on Twitter and I'm pleased to say that it seems to be working. We've thought hard about the right combination of signals and weighting to use in the algorithm, and combining that with human-curated lists really seems to work. And some early testing with our beta group has helped confirm a couple of key changes to the algorithm.

So, the plan is to release an early version in a few weeks to our testing group (you can join that here) for some feedback and then a much wider launch. Thanks again to everyone that has helped so far.
