This Week’s Favourite Fraggl Links

Wired_netflix

Here are my favourite links from this week, curated by Fraggl:

  • An unusually good native advertising execution from Wired in the form of a Netflix sponsored feature (above) on the state of TV, authored by (friend of ODF) Grant McCracken. For a counterpoint to the hype around native advertising, Andrew Sullivan (of The Dish) had some forthright words on the 'surrender of journalism'.
  • long but fascinating discourse on the state of agency and client relations from Rob Norman, Chief Digital Officer at Group M, from a speech delivered to the International Advertising Association in Beijing
  • good read on tackling the gender, diversity and culture gap in technology from @lucyblair at Undercurrent, building on Shanley's action-orientated post on a similar theme asking What Can Men Do?
  • piece from Scott Brinker on marketing apps as the future of marketing
And of-course you can sign up to Fraggl here.
